Although HP LaserJet 13X (Q2613X) costs about 20% more than LaserJet 13A (Q2613A), it is a superior buy for a number of reasons. Topping the list is lower cost per page. 13X can print 4000 pages at 5% page coverage (ISO/IEC 19752 standard) whereas 13A can print 2500 pages. That's 37.5% difference in page yield. Divide up the toner price against 4000 (e.g., 91.99 / 4000 = 2.3 cents) to get cost per page.

Secondly, laser toners last a long time whether you print few times a month or dozens of pages a day (they don't dry out). And finally, higher page yield means fewer toner replacement.

My only complaint with 13X (and that goes to 13A as well) is that page yield cost with some competing printers and higher-end HP LaserJets is even less.

I ordered an 'Original HP LaserJet 13X Black Cartridge in Retail Packaging'. What I received was a re-manufactured laser toner cartridge in an Office Depot box that says remanufactured on it. Also, the cartridge I received is defective - the strip cannot be pulled out of the cartridge, and there is a large chip on the drum. I have made repeated demands of ab4dd0n to allow me to return this item and refund all monies, but they refuse. They say they advertised the Office Depot cartridge. They did not. I have sent them proof of what their ad said, but they ignore everything I have sent them. They also have not addressed the defect problems. This appears to me to be a 'bait and switch' situation. I do not feel ab4dd0n should be allowed to get away with this. EVERYONE SHOULD AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH ab4dd0n! I had to file a claim through Amazon to get my money back which I was able to do. Thank goodness for their A-to-Z Guarantee program!

I print a lot, but this high capacity cartridge seems to last forever. The quality remains good right to the last. The only drawback is that my HP printer software seems to be geared to the lower capacity cartridge and is perpetually reminding me I'm running out of toner, when in fact, the cartridge is still going strong. Well worth the money.

Purchasing the maximum capacity toner sizes for HP Printers works out great as long as you can find a reasonable price. So far, I have been able to find great deals here on Amazon. I recently purchased a two pack of this toner for a great price.

This is an OEM HP Toner cartridge. The quality speaks for itself. The price was very competitive.

I like the fact that for a few more bucks you can get a lot more pages with the 13X cartridge. I'm happy to post that I received a genuine HP 13X toner cartridge in the original packaging when I ordered from directly from Amazon (not some other reseller). I'm happy with the product, but haven't used it yet as this is the spare cartridge.

First, based on the picture I assumed I was getting an original cartridge, so I was disappointed when I recevied two remanufactured cartridges. The cartridges barely worked for 20 pages before they began leaving large ink blots all over the paper. The two cartridges were unusable within 2 days. I will be filing a complaint with Amazon.

Due to budget cuts I have to buy the toner for my printer at my work- this toner usually costs around $90 but I bought it here for $32 INCLUDING shipping! Great buy, great price, fast shipping. I could not be any more satisfied. GREAT TRANSACTION.

This is the appropriate toner for my printer. What is best about the Q2613X is that it has greater capacity (prints more pages) than the other toner that works for this product. I get extensive use from one of these toners.

I bought a cartridge from this company and it lasted over a year. I purchased two more cartridges from this company about 8 months ago. When I went to replace, one was defective and I asked about a return. It had been more than 180 days and the company was not obligated to replace; however, since it was only a few days passed the 180 days they made an exception. I left on vacation and did not return the product for a couple of weeks, even then they accepted my return and replaced the cartridge. This is one of the most satisfying experience in true customer service that I have encountered. They offer a great product for an excellent price and they actually care about the customer. The reason I didn't replace within the 180 days was because a cartridge I ordered more than a year ago was stil working!

If you want a good quality cartridge at a great price and excellent service, go with these guys!!!!!
