I tried to save a few cents and bought a "compatible" toner cartridge.

Needless to say, the few dollars savings were cancelled out with service calls to the printers (by myself)

Now I get only genuine HP. I saved a bit by getting 53X and not the low-volume 53A cartridges.

I certainly am not saying all non-HP toners are less-than-perfect.

It depends on the company re manufacturing the units and their in house QA standards (if they use any).
And if they have any sort of ISO standards they are certified to.
(otherwise, for all you know the seller RE-fills them out in their garage)

If you want to save money on toner for your P2015 printer, get the
53X and not the 53A.
For a bit more $$ you get a high-capacity cartridge vs a regular capacity.

This is advertised by Amazon as Genuine HP. It is not, and Amazon Must change their description and picture immediately.

I received my cartridge and it is a genuine HP Toner cartridge.
I was worrird when I made my purchase after reading the reviews from persons who received non-genuine cartridges. I worried in vain as I recived a genuine cartridge in an hp box.

Received the 53X quickly after placing the order. Still think $140 is high, even though this is lower than retail for this item. Amazon did offer free shipping, though. I know this cartridge prints thousands and thousands of pages: even more than it quotes. At the end of its life, you just shake it to even out the toner and you can get it to keep printing.

Hey, not much to review here. Amazon asked me so I will contribute my 2 cents worth. As expected, you take it out of the box, insert in printer, turn on and print. It's either gonna work or not. Mine worked just fine.

The item is advertised as an HP print cartridge with picture of an HP box. It is not; it is a generic "premium compatible" no name brand recycled POS. The sticker on the box says it is not manufactured by any OEM.

Cartridges arrived promptly. Haven't had an opportunity to use them yet, which will be the more important issue, but they are bugging me for a review now.

After servicing printers for the last 15 yr. I can tell you that 75% of the mechanical printer failures I saw were because of after-market re-manufactured cartridges. Do yourself a favor and only buy Genuine HP.

2 days ago this item was listed for $50. I ordered it and the order was confirmed. This morning I got an email saying the order was cancelled. I returned to this web site to see the item had been marked up to $129. Beware - not sure this site is legitimate.

Order arrived right on time and was packaged perfectly. Very pleased with this order and will continue to order.
