I sometimes run out of book covers for my short run titles (text block printed in house, color covers outsourced), and then it's handy to be able to print full quality covers while waiting for the next batch.

I currently use an HP 1518ni color laser for these covers, absolutely great quality and no feed problems.

Can't recommend this stock highly enough for making book covers, report covers, etc.

(HP's 28 lb. and 32 lb. Premium Laser Papers are also great, I even prefer them over Astropaque now.)

This card stock is a classic fountain pen and felt tip pen friendly paper. The heavy, very smooth surface makes these type pens float over the paper with a very rich color. I use a standard flatbed paper cutter to make the sizes I want and then use padding compound to make convenient pads.

Why bother, some say? For fountain pen types like me, the very cheap standard 3" x 5" cards you find in the store now produce a feathered, blurred writing line. Also, they have a rough writing surface. There are very expense stationery catalogs that sell high end 3 x 5's and the such, but the HP LaserJet Cover paper is superior and much less expensive, in my opinion.
