Printing at up to nine pages per minute at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution, your documents will be sharp and clear. The 3200cxi prints on a variety of media types including envelopes, labels, transparencies, and custom-size paper. It has built-in parallel and USB ports for expanded connectivity with many peripheral devices.

The 3200cxi lets you fax documents quickly at just three seconds per page with a 275-page memory so you won't lose information when you run out of paper. The 3200cxi also delivers copies at 600 x 600 dpi and is capable of producing nine copies per minute. Reduction and enlargement features from 25 to 200 percent allow you to easily adjust documents to suit your needs. The scanner function offers color scanning at 600 ppi with convenient scan-to-e-mail at the touch of a button.

From the specifications and HP's reputation, this sounded like a wonderful machine - Combine many functions and save space. However, after 3 software upgrades, 3 hardware replacements, an entire machine replacement, 2 operating system reinstalls, and ~50 hours on the phone, I would actively discourage anyone from buying this. HP's final solution was to simply buy it back from me after acknowledging it had serious problems. The software never worked and caused many other computer problems, the fax never reliably worked, and the machine would often disconnect the phone about 3 seconds after someone called. I am about to replace it with a Brother 9200.

I was a huge HP fan. I first got this device and it worked fine. Recommended it to my mom. After 2 months the paper kept jamming or it would pull 20 sheets at a time. I'm not as eloquent as wasted away in 3200ville, but I wanted to let people know my experience. I'm going to try the brother. I have read a lot of these reviews and have based many buying decisions on them.

HP printers in general have been very good. I have purchased 4 HP laser or inkjet printers in the past; therefore, I decided to buy the 3200 laserjet. What a big mistake!!! This printer combo is not reliable and definitely not worth the money. The print quality is what you expect from HP but the other features on this printer makes this a product to avoid.

I have experienced the following:
1. constant paper jams when trying to scan multiple pages
2. Fatal system errors very frequently( they happen at random moments that you need to power down the printer)
3. FAX feature is just terrible
4. Sending a fax may result in the printer hanging
5. Receieve faxes is unrealiable.. the printer doesn't pick up the rings. You would need to unplug the printer then replug it before it will restart picking up faxes again!?!

In conclusion, this printer has caused more headaches than value. Do not buy it unless you enjoy pain. After this printer, HP brand loyality is definitely out of the question. What happened to HP quality?????? I wish i can give this printer a zero rating!
