I had made the mistake of trying to save a few bucks with a non-OEM cartridge (see my review of that elsewhere) and had nothing but trouble with it. I thought I'd ruined my printer. I finally junked it (the cartridge, not the printer) and bought the HP cartridges in the hopes I wasn't throwing good money after bad. The problems I was having with streaks on the output page and on the transport belt inside the printer immediately cleared up and the printer works like new.

In the final analysis, the non-OEM cartridge was a total waste of money (it was half-full when I threw it away), caused me endless frustration, bad print output and worry for the integrity of the printer itself. I will never do that again.

When you consider the HP cartridges work flawlessly, HP provides a free UPS label to return the old cartridge for recycling, and they guarantee their product, buying the OEM cartridge is actually the better deal.

I only gave it 4 stars, because if it wasn't for the ludicrously high prices on their cartridges, people like me wouldn't be tempted to try saving money with an after-market product. Their prices seem unnecessarily high.

If you own an HP, don't skimp with generic or refurbished toner; it will mess up your machine! Been there done that.

This works way better than a remanufactured cartridge. No streaks or misprints. Cant beat the price for this 2-pack anywhere. Shipping was suprisingly fast, thanks Amazon.

This product works as advertised and produces GREAT prints in my HP 2605dn printer.

One tip. Shut off the feature in your printer that stops it from working when it thinks the toner is empty. My toner printed at least another 500 pages beyond this point.

This product was advertised as new and it was in an OEM sealed container and was received in just a few days. All was as advertised and at a great price.

It works as it is supposed to. I have never had a problem. The two pack make it a great value.

I don't remember for sure when I bought this, so it's in my printer working just fine. What else is there to say? :-)

After using many refurbs, I bought this and there was no comparison. The copies are crystal clear....not blur or smudging. I know it costs a little more, but it is well worth it.

Installed a cartridge, got the message on my HP printer "Incorrect Supplies" and refuses to print.
I'm going to send them back.

Great on-time delivery and price - thank you "My Office Products/Amazon"! Same old story: bought a cartridge from a major re-filler and it started streaking after using 1/3-1/2 the toner (but after the 90 day warranty period). HP cartridges are sure-fire and the price of these cartridges are only slightly more than the re-filler.
