It is often very hard to tell if toners are genuine HP or just HP compatible. This one is indeed genuine HP. The instructions are included and make installation very easy.

The Yellow HP Ink Cartridge was a new one as promised; and delivered with speed. Thanks for the great service!

We usually buy compatible consumables for our HP printer, but for the past year, we've had trouble with streaking. So we've been going back to genuine HP consumables in order to solve the problem.

Fortunately, a recent Amazon purchase of an HP Drum Kit solved the streaking problem. Unfortunately, we discovered that after buying this toner cartridge.

The HP cartridge works fine, but when we bought it, it was almost twice as expensive as a refill.

NOTE: As of this writing, the price has come down to $70, although that's from an Amazon Merchant, not Amazon itself. For that price, make sure you're getting a genuine HP product.

The only problem we've had with the refills is that their seals don't seal as well, and they tend to leak toner in the printer, sometimes staining the printouts. If the price of the HP cartridges doesn't come down a bit, I think we'll try to find a good quality refill for next time and take our chances. Our local vendor has stood behind their compatibles, exchanging when problems.

Otherwise, the usual fast, painless service when buying direct from Amazon.

this toner has been working just fine in our printer since we installed it and the price was reasonable and the delivery was as requested.

This Yellow Toner is great! It reproduces colors of our printouts with complete accuracy. If you need soft yellows-you get them. If you need strong yellows-you get them too. Even where you might have varying degrees of yellows in the same print it captures just what you need.

We also ntoice that where yellows are next to other strong colors, such as deep blues, reds or greens, it does not bleed into the neighboring color. Crisp is the one word that comes to mind.

I really cannot yet rate this product as I received it on 3/7/08 and my printer has not yet "asked for a replacement of that particular cartridge". The current yellow cartridge in my printer is only 40% used. Check back with me in about 2 months.
