This product is compatible with my HP mini 210-1010 laptop. It is cheaper than the HP website 59.95, only negative is that on the HP website it has a 1 year warranty and on Amazon it only has a 30 day warranty. Since I needed the charger the next day I chose the cheaper route, (most people do not have problems with chargers but I usually have a lot of electronic problems). Nevertheless if I did not need it the next day I most likely would have purchased the charger from HP because it had a warranty.

UPDATE: 1/11/2011- Charger is still working fine.

It fits my HP mini and charges it fine. But it is not the same cord as the original that came with it, so it doesn't "click" in; it falls out easily, and that can get annoying.

This is an actual HP power supply, not a cheap knock-off from china. It works perfect. It has a right angle plug that's great for staying out of the way. The cord on each end is plenty long, about 8 feet total length. It came in an HP box with warranty paperwork. Not bad for $40; $10 cheaper than from HP direct.

I purchased this due to my over playful cats knocking my netbook off the table and the connector breaking on the original power supply. I bought from Amazon because the price was more than $20 cheaper than HP's store. The connector from the power supply to the laptop was different than pictured. It does work but it falls out easier than the original. A tad disappointed with that, but the same may have happened with the manufacturer. Otherwise the product is fine.

The computer got knocked off a low table yesterday and I thought the charger was intact, but today the tip just fell off. Second time I've had an HP charger break. I won't be buying one again. If I find an alternative charger that lasts, I'll post a review.

Just for comparison's sake, before this I had a Dell and there's also a Acer netbook in the house. If you actually use a laptop like a laptop, that is carry it around and bring it to work, there are accidents and they get knocked around. Both other computers survived similar falls with the charger intact.

Since getting this netbook, I've head from a number of people how fragile the chargers are. Seems like the company is using their very expensive replacement chargers to beef up the profits on the netbooks. Not cool.

After having the straight factory adapter get bent when my rambunctious dogs knocked my HP Mini off a coffee table I was in need of a replacement. For the money, you can't beat this one. The nice part is it has a 90 degree charger fitting. I have not experienced any of the looseness others have noted. If you need a replacement for your HP Mini, this is the one!

The charger works as it should, keeps my HP mini charged. Two small things about it bother me though. The section that goes into the computer is excessively long and protrudes about 3/16 of an inch outside of the netbook instead of being flush like the original. It is not a very tight/snug fit, it has pulled out of the power connector from only the weight of an unsupported charging cable.

Generally, this adapter worked well with my HP Mini. There is, however, a slight flaw in the design of the computer end. If you're like me and you move your mini-laptop around a lot, the computer end of the connector bends and starts to weaken. Eventually, you have to hold the adapter at all kinds of crazy angles to get a good connection. If you use your HP Mini like a desktop and keep it plugged in at the same place all the time, you probably won't have that problem.

The original 40w HP Mini power cord had a straight jack which is probably why it yanked out so easily and broke when I tripped over the cord and pulled my Mini onto the floor. I wasn't thrilled that HP had changed the design, but it's actually a huge improvement over the original. The newly designed cord with the angled jack is superior to the original. Works great. Fits snugly. Perfect. Love it.

I have not had any problems with the charger i have received, it does its job just fine and does what i need it too
