Not an HP item, but it still does the job.
I was a bit thrown in the beginning because the item shown when purchasing is the original HP ink in the original packaging. This item does NOT come like that. It's separately boxed, and from what it looks like, it was a cartridge that was just refilled. Honestly, I don't really care. It's for my printer at home, and it does just as good of a job as the original...

expired color cartridge
I almost replaced the printer untill I discovered the supplied ink cartridge was three years past its expiration date. Replaced the cartridge with another (within expiration date) and printer worked normally

I have been purchasing my HP ink cartridges from local office supply stores for the past 15 years. It never occurred to me that Amazon's prices might be lower than Office Max. I was wrong. The cartridges that have purchased are equal or superior in quality to those available at the office supply outlets and the price is at least 20% lower. I am very glad that I have discovered Amazon as a source for my ink cartridge needs.

This was an unopened original twin package of color/ B & W ink cartridges that was more than $10 off regular price you find in stores. Love finding items like this on Amazon..especially since I go through ink so quickly on my printer.
