* 1 When used with a notebook that requires the expansion base adapter, the following features will not be supported: VGA port (monitor must be connected directly to notebook's VGA port), power button (must use power button on notebook), stereo microphone jack (only mono is supported).
2 When using a notebook requiring the expansion base adapter, the monitor must be connected directly to the notebook VGA port.
3 Only one video output option can be supported at a time; only one audio output option port can be supported at a time.

Got what was published as a new boxed unit. When opened box found it was re-packaged and the USB ports 1 and 2 had damage and were not usable. This unit never worked out of the box so now I have two non working docking units that HP will not support.
