5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Printer
We use a number of these printers at work and they do an excellent job. The best overall printer I have used for desktop printing. For work orders I use the draft setting and it is really fast. The memory card port is really handy for viewing/uploading pictures.

3.0 out of 5 stars Minor Break Equals Major Problem
I bought one of these printers for my daughter in high school; good unit for low volume printing, good scanner, but one common issue that's a budget breaker. The print cartridges are pressed in place by a spring mounted in the ink cartridge chute. There is a small plastic tab that holds the spring in place, and it is easy to break. If it breaks, the machine will not recognize the print cartridge because it does not press tightly against the interface at the back of the chute. HP buys these printers from a 3rd. party, and once they go out of warranty [1 yr.] they will not fix it, even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with the printer except the little broken tab. A built in ripoff, and their tech support will do nothing but offer to sell you another printer. A real shame, as otherwise this is an excellent unit for the price. Since it is a wear and tear item, used printers are subject to breakage at any time depending on the amount of use they have had, and they were a lease item for a lot of small businesses. Beware!

2.0 out of 5 stars Minor problem equals machine failure, March 19, 2009
This review is from: HP OJ7310XI All in One OfficeJet Printer (Office Product)
I had the same problem as the person in another review. The little tab that holds the cartridges in place broke off. There is no way to fix or get around this, the machine is now useless. It seems to me they should have a better way to hold the cartridge in place and/or at the very least an easy fix to replace this small plastic tab. If you have or buy this machine take extreme care when replacing cartridges.

4.0 out of 5 stars Defective but good unit when working, September 28, 2007
This review is from: HP OJ7310XI All in One OfficeJet Printer (Office Product)
I bought this directly from Amazon and was exited to get it ready and going, however it came defective so I returned it with no problems. I've since bought another of the same and it works great
