Now I know this is an old model and nobody is going to buy one, but it does put my faith in HP at risk.

I picked up one of these at a local store as a clearance priced open box item, and was stunned by this desktop's power and performance. Despite not having Bluetooth or HDMI, I like it and would highly recommend it to others seeking a small form-factor PC that can be integrated into a home theater or unobtrusively placed in the smallest of workspaces.
This PC would work well as an everyday computer for home, school or office, or integrated into a home theater set-up.

The Pro's: "The things I like about this PC."
+ Super small
+ (2) DVI ports to support dual monitors!
+ 1TB (7200rpm) hard drive; much faster than the 5400rpm SATA drives.
+ 6GB memory for smooth running Windows 8; can be upgraded to 16GB!
+ (2) USB 3.0 ports on front of PC; the new standard in USB.
+ Expansion slots available to add TV tuner card or similar.
+ Beats Audio support w/ 7.1 audio
+ Wireless (2.4GHz band) + LAN socket; means you can place it anywhere.
+ SuperMulti DVD burner drive
+ Multimedia card reader
+ 60-Day Norton Antivirus installed
+ Looks cool with blue light framing front of PC.
+ Model came out in February of 2013.

The Con's: "The stuff I wish was better, but none of it is 'bad'."
- No HDMI ports, but you can get an adapter: AmazonBasics HDMI to DVI Adapter Cable (9.8 Feet/3.0 Meters).
- No Bluetooth, but again, an inexpensive adapter that works very well is available:

If your space is limited, or if you just don't want a huge computer taking up your whole desk, then this might be the system for you. It does just about everything an entry-level PC tower does, but in about 1/3 of the space. It is well-ventilated, so you can tuck it into a corner or under the desk without worry. It even looks cool with some blue LED overtones on the front.

Under the hood you'll find a 1 TB hard drive, which should be more than enough to store what you need. The 3.3GHz Pentium processor is a workhorse! It should handle anything you throw at it. The 802.11n WiFi works great, as does the dual-layer DVD burner. It is lacking a bit in the graphics department, so if you're a heavy gamer, take that into consideration, but it handles my music, movies, and YouTube just fine.

It is a great for its intended purpose: it is a value-priced Small-form factor PC. It provides basic computing power for Web browsing, document creation, online games and basic multimedia, and it does it for a decent price.

Yeah i bought one from best buy at $400 plus 1 year geek squad protection for $130 total like the price here...its a good fast computer with windows 8 its a great multitasker has not crashed yet no microsoft works though...its starts up not as fast my mind wanted it to but its way faster than my 2006 slimline. Its sleak and good looking. Not as small as other slimmline models. Don't buy it here when you can get the warranty plus the a year or more if you want coverage...the price listed at best buy is way cheaper.

Just plugged it in and it was up and workin. I liked the more compact size. Looks very nice on the floor under the computer desk.

The first thing to go was the disk drive after about a year of use. I bought my wife a new computer and replaced the drive on this one. I rebuilt the OS and put the slimline "on the shelf" as a spare. I pulled it off recently and found the CD eject button doesn't work. I can eject the CD by clicking on the CD icon and clicking eject.

This is two things gone wrong with this computer in essentially one year of use. Now I know this is an old model and nobody is going to buy one, but it does put my faith in HP at risk. I think I will stick with them for what they do best: printers.
