The HP Pavilion a620n is a great entry level PC that doesn't sacrifice in power or performance for those on a budget. It has a 2.20 GHz Athlon XP 3200+ processor, 512 MB RAM, and a 160 GB hard drive, and is powered by Windows XP Home Edition. It's bundled with a variety of software, including HP Image Zone Plus digital photography software, aimed to get you online and capturing, editing, and sharing your digital photos, audio, and video.

The Basics

• Hard Drive: 160 GB Ultra DMA hard drive stores your digital photos, digital audio and video, and other files.
• Processor: Powered by a 2.20 GHz Athlon XP 3200+ processor, it's fast enough to run all your applications, and it has a 512 KB L2 cache.
• Memory: 512 MB RAM helps your applications run faster and more efficiently--even games, digital audio, and digital video software. There is one available DIMM slot so you can add more memory in the future.
• CD/DVD Drive: A combo CD-RW/DVD+RW drive lets you read CDs at a speedy 48x and DVD-ROMs at 12x. You can also write to CD-R or CD-RW media at 48x and re-write at 32x, or write DVDs at 8x and re-write at 4x.
