I have struggled with this printer ever since I first got it and must admit that I have uttered choice words at it on many occasions. I can't get it to do what I want and it is nearly impossible to cancel actions on it. I long for a printer that is user friendly and gives quality copies. When I find one, this one is going somewhere--anywhere--but won't stay in my house! I'm very disappointed in HP and won't be purchasing their products again.

This has been THE WORST printer I have ever had the displeasure of owning. We are lucky to get 15% "print on the first click" results. If I didn't have a computer genius techy teen who knows how to create "delete print job" commands from dos prompt - it might be as low as 5%. I did not know it was possible to hate an inanimate object until I owned this black box. To add insult to injury, HP sends SO MANY updates, hints, tips and just annoying trouble-shooting screens that I cannot get rid of. My hubby bought me a new (Lexmark) printer for Christmas so it is with great pleasure that I am throwing this unit in the trash.

I have had so many problems with this printer. The ink that came with the printer was so bad I couldn't even align the cartridges. It prints with a shadow on everything except unformatted text. Then it wouldn't even sense paper and it would give me an out of paper error. After I fixed that problem, then it wouldn't feed the paper correctly and the paper would feed in crooked and jam. The scan feature has been an essential to email documents since I do not have a fax. It has been problem after problem and I hope everything is fixed after I buy new ink.
