"I started Harajuku Lovers because I wanted to design something more creative than a standard merchandise line. So we decided to launch a fashion and accessories line based on the same Japanese influence as my album Love. Angel. Music. Baby.," said Stefani. "A camera is clearly a modern-day accessory so I thought, 'Why not design a unique, stylish version of it?' So we added it to the line, and it's super-kawaii ('super-cute' in Japanese)."

The HP Photosmart R607 Harajuku Lovers Digital Camera by Gwen Stefani is an ultra-compact, 4.1 megapixel camera that features HP's innovative Real Life Technologies. The custom matching case, also designed by Stefani, keeps you in style both while you're snapping photos and while you're in transit. The R607's 3x Pentax zoom, plus a 7x digital zoom, means that you'll never miss a faraway shot again. Meanwhile, eight shooting modes, plus automatic or manual focus settings, allow you to set the camera to suit the shooting conditions. And because the camera supports 4.1 megapixel resolution, you can produce prints and enlargements up to 11 x 17 inches. Although the R607 has an ultra-compact design, it's easy to hold it steady using the comfortable, sculpted grip. The camera's metal front makes it durable, too.

The R607 comes with a number of additional features to help you produce beautiful photos. HP's adaptive lighting technology automatically brightens darker areas of photos for better contrast. You can also eliminate red-eye right in the camera and capture scenes and natural vistas with the panorama preview feature. There's even a little program that gives you tips on how to take better pictures. After snapping a shot, the camera analyzes the settings and suggests how to improve next time. HP's very cool and easy "Instant Share" feature allows you to send photos to e-mail addresses and on-line albums, right from an interface on the back of the camera. Before you send them, you can add creative touches to photos by adjusting the resolution, compression, sharpness, saturation, and contrast -- all via the camera interface.

Other features include an MPEG movie mode that lets you record video clips with sound. Or, you can take a series of still photos using burst mode. Save your photos and videos using the 32 MB internal storage, or save them on an optional SD or MMC memory card. And because the R607 supports PictBridge technology, you can also print without a PC to select HP printers using the included USB cable. For those who like to control and organize their photos on a PC, the R607 ships with HP Image Zone, a complete digital photography application for PC users. With Image Zone, you can crop, rotate, and enhance photos, plus organize, create album pages, edit video, and make photo CDs.

An AC charger is included for the R607's rechargeable lithium-ion battery, and an optional R-series dock can be used with the camera to transfer photos to your PC while you're charging up the R607's juice.

This camera is such a waste...normal use even delicate use, will break this camera. I have had an older HP for years that Ive never had an issue with, but for some reason I have needed 2 replacements sent to me, due to internal software issues, the camera freezing, etc. It is way too touchy. Also their customer support is outsourced and I have a hard time getting the people to understand my problems, and they wont repair the camera, just keep sending new ones to me. This is a limited edition item, is it just supposed to sit pretty on the shelf? I never know if they are going to send me the same model since its pretty hard to find now. A waste of time and money.

If you intend on buying this camera.. please dont ever use it. If you break it you'll never get it fixed, HP are a terrible company, from other reviews/comments i have read HP dont repair any cameras they will only replace. This camera cant be replaced and the R607 is actually one of their most basic models, really not worth it. I will never buy another HP product. I now own two of these Harajuku Lovers cameras because one of them was broken (very easily). HP or any of their repair companies wont have anything to do with it and getting it fixed elsewhere will cost double the price of the cameras worth. Just do yourself a favour and dont buy this camera.

Hey this Camera is amazing for what it is. It is both Sexy and amazing. Great photos at 4megapixels. Nifty Videos, and cool effects, the Panorama mode lets you take up to 5 shots then blend them together, it cast a shadow that lets you line the shot up, it does cool things such as i took a photo of the couch with my girlfriends sister sitting on all 3 seats on the couch, it was awsome. Great camera!
