I asked the HP Rep what he thought was their fastest first copy out copier for my price range. This was his answer. My previous HP 6000 series copier (multifunction machine) could take up to 45 sec to get the first copy out, this one is less than 10 sec! Much faster for the type of copy work that we do. If speed is what you are looking for, I would recommend this Multifunction machine.

I actually sent the machine back and am glad I did. Check out the Xerox DocuMate 250 which I bought instead. This machine may be wonderful, but you have to read before you buy. I skimmed over the tech data and got confused. The 3020 is NOT all in one. It is two of the three. The 3030 has the fax capabilities. The 3020 has only the printer and scanner. I pass this on, so you won't have to go through the inconvenience of returning it, because you can't carry this machine back to Office Depot. They won't accept it. Tech Depot is a separate company, though both of the same parent.

The order was cancelled for no reason. Not a good experience in general...

I bought this machine thinking that the printer was also color, read really carefuly before you buy. I cannot return it now, but wanted a color pmultifunction machine and ended up with a black and white only printer and a color scanner instead.
