The price of two was lower than one name brand. At first when I put the cartridge in the printer, it acted like it wasn't going to be compatible, but after taking it in and out a few times, the cartridge works great. I have had no trouble since that first day....and I've had it over a month. Print quality is also great....can't go wrong with this purchase!

excellent performance, no different than the $130.00 HP in stotes. I will continue to re-oder from Amazon.

Poor quality, lots of streaks, you may save money on the purchase but you pay for it because you use twice as many.

the title of my review pretty much says it all. I've used off-brand toner cartridges before with no problem, but am not having any luck with this one.

It either drops too much ink or too little on the page, leading to streaks or white spots.

you're prob better off with something else.

I ordered a two pack of these (supposedly) Q5949X-compatible cartridges (fulfilled by TheFactoryDepot) for use in my HP LaserJet 1320. These cartridges do not work in the printer though they are advertised to do so. It wasn't a question of insufficient toner; they simply do not fit in the printer. After the printer door was closed and the printer tried to engage the cartridge, the printer error was consistently "The print cartridge has been removed from the printer." I tried both, and reseated them two or three times each, always with the same result.

I should point out that I have used several Q5949X-compatible cartridges purchased through Amazon from other vendors over the last three years. All have worked perfectly and given me long life. After these two failed I ordered a similar compatible cartridge on Amazon from another vendor (not TheFactoryDepot!) and it worked perfectly in the printer.

To make matters worse, I did not find out about the problem until well after the 30 day guaranteed returns date. This is because I always keep a spare on hand that I don't use until the previous cartridge runs out of toner (after shaking it two or three times to get the last bit out). When I finally need the spare, I put it in the printer and if I'm out of spares, order another one (or two). I don't print anything close to 6000 pages per month so the spares are never used within the 30 day window. I contacted TheFactoryDepot and they refused to give a refund or replace the cartridges because the 30 day window had expired, even though the problem was obviously not related to the age of the product. The cartridges simply do not fit the machine; they are complete and utter junk.
