HP Photo paper disappoints,

I purchased HP Photo paper Q8868A (50 pack HP Everyday photo paper) to make 4 x 6 holiday cards. The cards are 4 x 6.5"! Not only are they blatantly out of specification, they won't fit in my printer. Even if they did, your 4x6 photo would leave bands of white on the edge.I bought them for $5.98 (for 50) from a local Mega-lo Mart. Not expensive, but geez, am I foolish to expect 4x6 photo paper to really be 4x6 in size? I was using a Brother MFC-440CN printer. It just finished 20 4x6 photos on LD Products brand paper (it came free with ink cartridges I recall), BEAUTIFULLY. Avoid this paper, unless you enjoy making fifty individual half-inch cuts to restore the paper to the proper size. If your time is worth dirt, buy this photo paper. |
