HP Spare 463955-001 Laptop Ac Adapter

I purchased three of these at the same time. One for patio deck, for vehicle, for laptop bag and original is stationed at desk. Tested all three adapters as good. I went to HP PARTSURFER (google it) put in the "Replace with HP Spare" part# 609940-001 and HP recognizes this model as a genuine HP AC Adapter. Although my original HP Spare 463955-001 90w part number is different from 609940-001, the specs and size are exactly the same. It is a 19v 4.7a 90w brick and the connections fit like the original. All three HP Adapters came in original HP Genuine Box in new condition. It came with Power Cord, AC Adapter and AC Fitting Converter. I will upload three pictures I took of my purchase which hopefully will be in the picture section. I am elated with this purchase for the price.

I'm not one to write reviews on products or on the 3rd party market vendors, but I want to share my experience with this product. Common theme among the listed reviews here are that many received the product as "new," but had been previously owned. The box made it appear like you are purchasing it brand new, but be warned. Called customer service and was able to negotiate a good deal on the used cable and have been using it for nearly a week without any problems. Will update if I ever come across a problem with the current power supply cable. Talked to Chris at "In and Out Computers," and he processed everything for me with complete satisfaction.

When I broke the power connector on my original power supply I found this one. The item arrived promptly and was in it's original un-opened package. This is a heavier duty replacement to the supply it is replacing and as such it does not get as hot or have to work as hard when running the laptop and charging the batteries. Cords are nice and long enough to reach around my couch. The Velcro strap is nice for securing the cords when packing it in your laptop bag.

Product was recieved quickly and works well. However, it was not new. The package had previously been opened and resealed with tape.

I read a lot of reviews before I bought from this seller, and I nearly didn't buy it. Most of the reviews were unfavorable and mentioned that the charger was used or in bad condition. I decided to order anyway, and experienced nothing but wonderful results. I recieved the charger days before it was expected, and it was in brand-new HP packaging. It works exactly like it should with no issues and is brand new as advertised. I'm not sure why other people had such trouble, but it was perfect for me.

Supposedly new stock, the item arrived with the factory seal intact, but the other end of the package was torn to shreds. I requested and received a replacement. This package was also unsealed and HP customer service couldn't find the part number on the unit in their database. Counterfeit?

In and Out computers isn't answering my emails

It's HP brand and legitimate. I had previously bought some off-brand charger that was terrible, soI didn't have high hopes for this. But I was wrong. It works like a charm!

I ordered this to replace my last replacement cord for my G60 HP laptop. The original and the previous replacement I owned allowed for too much bending near the laptop end of the adapter. This cord only has half the length of the flexible ribbed section present in the previous cords. The bending allowed by the previous cords led to breakage that was easily concealed by the ribbed design.

I am hoping that this will allow it to last much longer than its predecessors and so far so good - it does not bend nearly as much! The brick does not heat up nearly as much as the previous adapters, either. Definitely a very good buy.

Shipping was quick. Product works exactly as advertised. Direct replacement for original. Could not have asked for better product or shipping. Thanks for being so professional.

It's dead, Jim. Take its stuff. Nah, this product worked fine out of the box. Still works fine a year later.
