My husband and I went to Best Buy last weekend to purchase a new home computer. I did a little homework and was thinking that we'd settle on a Gateway all in one computer; however, the sound system was not very good and the sales rep showed us an HP all in one. We both liked it immediately. The Beats Audio is great for listening to music, watching movies, and videos- great sound quality. Once we expressed interest in purchasing this particular computer they started in on all the warranty and "protection" BS. We decided to go home and do some searching online for reviews on this particular model before we committed. I went online and the reviews were generally great. I ended up reading a couple on Amazon and thought why the hec should we buy this computer at Best Buy??? We'd never bought any large ticket items online before but I have friends who've done it and the Amazon reviews pretty much indicated that the customer service with Amazon was stellar. Got over the mental hurdle and ordered last Sunday, 1/15/2012. Opted for the free delivery. Long story short, instead of arriving arriving between 1/23 and 1/31 (free delivery timeline)it arrived three days after I ordered it, on 1/18. We are both loving our new computer. It is a lot of fun and suits our needs perfectly. Will definitely consider ordering electronics from Amazon in the future.

Great system!! looked at hp,dell,gateway and liked all three but the Hp stood out with the great stand so easy to move and durable. My entire family loves the system. A++

I love this computer!!! its probably one of the best things I have ever bought on amazon. Got here quick just like they said it would and its all around a great computer!! very fast so far and the touchscreen is an awesome plus to this desktop! would definitely recommend it to anyone looking at it. The only bad thing about it is it doesnt come with microsoft office. so youll have to buy that if your looking to do some papers on it or something.

I can't believe that I could buy a computer without seeing it real but after all, I never regret about my decision of buying HP 520-1020. I had searched around and really like the design of HP TouchSmart 520 then ordered this one b/c of the offer from Amazon and good reviews on a lot of websites. Its all true: it looks good, simple to set up, runs very strong and fast, the screen is big enough for everything, beats audio is perfect, touch screen is fun. I can't ask for more.

I bought this from Amazon for $630. One thing I noticed is Amazon stocks only a few items for this product. When they are all gone, it will take a few days for the new ones to be available. If you see the seller is not Amazon, dont buy it if you want a better deal. Just wait for a few days until it is available from Amazon.

I've had my HP 520-1020 all-in-one touchscreen computer for a couple of days now. It arrived in only 3 days from TN to TX with the standard amazon free shipping for items over $25. Since it doesn't have a tower, I have my HP sitting on a cart with rollers next to my bed so I can get online or watch movies after I get in bed at night. It has an on-screen keyboard that I can pull up to use from my bed in the dark, so I won't have to bother with the wireless keyboard and mouse. It also has a writing box that I can pull up and either print sentences or write them in longhand. Then it types what I write and inserts it into new emails, etc.
For watching movies, the picture couldn't be more perfect on the 23" screen. And the Beats sound system speakers sound almost as good as my 1,000 watt home theater system. If I turned the volume up all the way, it would blast me out. No need for external speakers! I absolutely love it. The only thing is, HP left some critical info out of the owners' manual, like the location of the power on button. It took me almost an hour to find it, because it's very oddly placed. I couldn't find a tech support phone number in the HP manual, just online support, which I couldn't find the power button to get online- LOL. Also missing from the manual was how to dim the brightness of the screen. For movies, the brightness needs to be maximum like it arrived. But for email, etc., it's way too bright. I finally found that I could go to the control panel and then to "change screensaver". When that comes up, you can choose "change power setting", and a scale will come up at the bottom of that page where you can adjust the brightness.

I purchased this from Amazon on Saturday, it showed up three days
later, with free delivery. Very easy to get up and running, keyboard
and mouse are wireless, and batteries were already in both. Computer
is very well put together, it's made of high grade materials and solid.
Inasmuch as its a all in one, I am very surprised at how quiet the monitor
is, because that's where the whole computer is, in the monitor.

The only difference I can tell between this and the more expensive
HP all in ones seems to be a faster intel chip, more memory, and a tv tuner.
The computer that I bought is so fast, I can't imagine why you'd need a
faster processor, and I can buy a USB tv tuner for around $60.00 to turn
this into a high def tv. I am very happy with this purchase, so far.
Keeping my fingers crossed. Touchscreen works fine, like a iPad, but
I like using the mouse, so touch screen isn't important to me.

Good product, but can't believe how the price keeps shooting up ever week for this touch smart.
Overall a great buy, not that fast compared to my ASus u-series laptop with an intel i5 processor.
Product DEFENITlY needs upgrading, but for the price I paid I'm very satisfied.
The touch screen is helpful sometime, not a big fan of it.
Packaging is OK. Hp packs the desktop very well, amazon just throws it into a box twice the size Of HPs and UPS guys don't care.

I paid 687 in total for this. Anything more than 700, is a little expensive for it. At the current marked price of 829 plus tax and shipping, you could get a much better one for the same price with higher specs.
The beats audio works well for me, I like it. Even though there is not too much in difference between the regular audio and beats.

Took me 5 mins to set up the device and have had no problems as yet.

This is a great computer. Love not having a tower any longer. Love the touch screen. Great product from HP as usual

This was just what I needed for this project. It worked great with Microsoft windows, but I could not get any of the Linux versions to run on it. I had to settle for CentOS and basic graphics, no touchscreen capabilities.
