Complete unreliable waste of money aka HP product.,

This is a complete piece of garbage. It was always slow, had a horrid intel chipset video card rendering it's graphics capabilities nill. The wireless card in this unit is not worth using drops in and out constantly and has a habit of dying young in all hp's I have ever used, laptop or pc. The combination of a horrid OS "VISTA" and cheap unreliable hardware spells early death. This unit lasted my girlfriend six months before dying completely. So six months of under par performance followed by an early lack of support death = piece of garbage and a total waste of money. The computer turns on to a blue HP screen where none of the option keys work, so you can't system recover, diagnose, load boot menu or anything and cannot even access BIOS. This is a failed product, and HP is a failed company. This product also has a very very high rate of failure from the same blue screen issue. HP's awnser to this problem was: "To take the HP Touchsmart IQ500 to a computer shop to get it looked at because they did not know what the problem was" BEWARE, this piece of garbage needs to be recalled due too the high volume of failure from this model.
