Some statistics for prospective buyers.

CAVEAT about EXPIRY DATE: buy a package with the LATEST (further in time) possible expiry date. This is difficult, if not impossible, over the internet. The ink cartridges are programmed to "disable themselves" on the expiry date. I am not certain whether Dec 2010 would mean Dec 1 or Dec 31 of that year.

I did not buy my 110 value pack at Amazon because I was worried about being able to choose the expiry date. I read a lot of reviews about the HP A630 photo printer before buying ink and paper. How long the ink lasts is an important issue.

I was printing borderless 4" x 6" photos on the Advanced paper in the pack. Following advice from someone reviewing the A630, I set quality to "normal". That setting gives fantastic photos.

On "normal" quality, I was able to print just over 130 borderless photos. The printer gave a warning just before about the 5th to last print. I did them all in one shot (last night because the expiry date is Dec 2010) but I don't think makes a difference.

Amazon.com is my choice for my HP inks. They have great prices and I get the product so quickly. I will only use genuine HP products.

For some reason, the model printer I bought is no longer carried by my local store. This is exactly what I wanted, it was shipped and received within a reasonable time. I will order again.

I purchased this cartridge for an old but still serviceable portable HP photo printer. This cartridge was supposed to be compatible with my printer, but sadly it was not -- something I did not realize until after having already installed the cartridge. (The cartridge had the same form factor, and snapped into my unit just fine, but the unit displayed an incompatibility message). As far as I know, the item sold is as it should be; but beware when searching for replacement ink -- don't begin your search with your printer model, or you'll likely end up with an incompatible toner.

this product is giving me the opportunity to share photos on the spot virtually with friends/family. we can print on a daily/hourly basis allowing a reshoot if the first was poor [ operator error] and allowing us to see the memorable shots we thought we were shooting and not be disappointed two weeks later after getting them back upon our return home.

Hello,I got an HP printer A636 for Christmas, & the picture(s)will blow your mind will come out christal clear.If you make a mistake the machine will give options to choose from, if you decide to hook it up to the computer it will register it automaticly to the company so you don't have to. How do like thoose apples? But other than that you stick your memory card into the correct slot then put the paper into the printer your off & running to the races there other programs that I don't know yet I'm still learning about another thing about this printer you can put
a battery in it's compartment and your free from electrical cords but you have to charge the battery overnight after the battery is charged you can take it where ever you go but please take it's cord with you just in case it needs a charge you don't want it to crash while it's printing pictures so if you decide to purchse this wonderful machine
you won't be sorry!![...]
