If you buy a used or reman cartridge, be sure you look carefully if you are getting one or two cartridges. I ordered from BIS and only got one cartridge - upon further inspection, order acknowledgements indicate a single cartridge, but it really isn't clear on the Amazon page. I think this is deceptive to ship single cartridges under an item that is clearly a TWIN-Pack. The cartridge itself is fine.

Took a gamble and found so-so result. The first cartridge worked great but the second was defective, no red ink, and failed test at the refill store.

I am very confused about this order I never received. I received first class mail within a week from other orders from amazon.com. This vendor told me I should wait weeks. I ordered it in November and in late December I asked for a refund. I have not received it yet. If he could not fill the order, just say that without taking my money. Amazon what can you do for me?

I originally ordered a pair of these because H-P doesn't make new ones anymore and I like my printer. I didn't want to put it in the landfill just to get some new ink cartridges. When I got the cartridges, they didn't seem to work as well as the OEM ones, and I wrote a lukewarm review saying I was happy they were available, but they weren't as good as the original ones. Red wasn't real vibrant and didn't work at all in one of them. My goal was only to "manage expectations" for future purchasers, not necessarily to discourage a purchase.

Well, someone at inks4youth saw the review (I didn't bother to send anything to the vendor) and determined to make it good. They sent me another set of cartridges. That, in my book, is excellent customer service. I was mildly satisfied, although not delighted, with the original order, but that was not enough for inks4youth.

Anyhow, I got the replacements, they both work well and I think that usage of the original cartridge actually improved the quality over time. It might be that it got cold in shipping and had to warm up well before it would start working to spec. So put me down as a very happy customer. I get to keep my printer and I know I have a great future source for ink cartridges. Kudos, inks4youth!

Many (most?) of these HP23 cartridges advertised as new but at about half the normal price are well past the expiration date. If you are lucky they will work and if you are not lucky they won't work. If you are lucky the seller will refund your purchase price on the bad ones. If you are not lucky, as was my experience with modelf22, he either won't be willing to or can't figure out how to or doesn't get around to it. In that case file a claim with Amazon under the Amazon A-to-z gaurantee and there is a good chance that Amazon will refund your money promptly and then deal with the seller themselves. The advertised Twin Pack I bought really was a twin pack and neither cartridge worked, as they were six years past the install by date. I ended up getting a new cartridge at twice the price from a merchant with a lot of real stores and also an on-line presence.

COMES WITH FEW INK. NOT RECOMMENDED. SPEND A LITTLE MORE AND GET THE BRAND NEW ORIGINAL. YOU MAY BE CAN PRINT VERY FEW PAGES 2 OR 3 AND THEN THE COLORS BEGIN TO FAIL.

I gambled and bought this product (in spite of the negative reviews) just to save a few bucks. Looks like I picked the wrong product to gamble on. Just put one of the "new" color cartridges in my HP Deskjet 810C, but it only prints in magenta; both yellow and blue are MIA! Now I have to spend the extra money I saved and replaced this with a new cartridge. Some people have had no problems with this item, based upon the feedback, but it does now appear to be a crap-shoot. So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do you punk......?

Both ink cartridges were dry. They were sold as new, but they must have been very old. Only color printed was very light pink, all other colors printed.
Do not buy any products from PCKINK..

Just put in the cartridge and all it prints is pink, I need a refund or new cartridge

The item ordered was as advertised and was received per instructions. A definite 5 star rating is well earned. Would deal with this outfit again.
