HP Deskjet 460wf Mobile Printer with Wireless Connectivity (C8152A#A2L)

It took me a few tries to get the feel of how to hook up the printer to the wireless system. I finally figured it out and it works fine. To hook it up directly from my laptop, use the HPSETUP connection. That was fine but it limits connection to any other WIFI equipment. I coded in the WIFI network and it works just like any other piece of equipment on my home network. The catch is to use the USB connection to make any WIFI changes on the printer.

Color photos were great on the printer using HP Photo paper. I have always enjoyed using HP Printers because of their connectablity and reliability. This is no exception.

Good little printer, bigger then Canon's model but uses the same ink cartridges as my other Hp Desk-jet, multifunction, so I like not having to purchase two different sets of ink.
Never could get the wireless part to work correctly, set up difficult, tech support non existent. HP needs to fix support.

This compact printer will handle anything a normal-size printer can do. I found the wireless feature difficult to connect to, and finally went with the USB connection. Not as small as I wanted, but full of features. Rather heavy to pack for travel.

After wasting 2 afternoons, with tech support, trying to get this printer properly installed, I was told, by HP, that this printer has been found to be incompatible with Windows XP. So if your operating system is XP, don't bother.

This printer is a great product it is light weight can print almost anywhere and the battery last almost all week for
my printing needs. The down fall is hooking up the wireless i still have not gotten it to work, you need to be a geek to get it working.

Love the wireless range. Love the print quality and print speed. Love the size, weight and battery life. My only wish to make it better would be to have dual wireless connectivity between an ad-hoc and wireless internet up at the same time.

I purchased this printer based on its compatibility with my new laptop and the Amazon reviews. Sad to say, but after 3 hours with HP tech support one day and 4-1/2 hours the next, it just wouldn't work. We could not load the printer driver due to a set-up error message that insisted my laptop did not have Explorer 5 or better. It's a brand new laptop with Explorer 7. So either the software is not a match with the Vista operating system or 2 printers and 2 laptops are defective - doubtful. For the money, I expected a great deal more.

FYI: I don't think the tech support from HP is that effective. They really didn't seem to know what they were doing. Too bad; it was a perfect size printer for my needs.

I have been travelling around with this product to all over the place. It has to be one of the most convenient things to have. It is reliable and the battery seems to last for a long time - I wouldn't doubt their claim for 250 pages on one charge. The print quality is great, pretty close to laser so far. I have got this to work on my mac as well as windows xp with no problem on the wireless.

The only issue I would have with it is explaining to security what this is, which becomes complicated when the agents don't speak english. They think it is a laptop, and when they realize it's a printer, they get all excited.

Printer set-up was easy, and the battery lasts quite a long time with a quick charge. HP gave me no assistance to get my HP pocket PC connected with my HP mobile printer. HP did give a link, that was hard to find, to a free download of the Printboy printer software program for windows mobile 5.0.
After Printboy was installed my pocket pc quickly detected the wi-fi card in my mobile printer, and a nice print connection was made.
After a little hassle, I am very happy with the printer and my pocket PC.

The set-up instructions were not clear, but we were able to figure it out. Performance is flawless!
