This mouse is very comfortable, a good size for me ( I have slightly smaller hands I guess) and VERY stylish as the other reviewer mentioned. The receiver is very small, so you don't even notice it's there. If you plan on using this on a desktop computer, make sure to plug the receiver directly to your computer. I tried connecting to it via a USB hub and the mouse stopped working due to interference (as stated on the help documents). The mouse is sensitive, and it doesn't have the jumpy mouse problem even if it's on a lighter surface. So far my only complaint is that the scroll wheel does not have the click to it, it's just a smooth scroll wheel which I don't like but that's just a personal preference. Overall, this seems to be a very nice mouse at a very good price :)

I ordered this wireless mouse and it arrived even sooner than I thought. First, when I installed the mouse on to my computer, I didn't need any software (both on Windows and Linux). I just plugged it in and the computer did the rest. I have been using it and it has been great. I liked the fact that I don't have to be plugging and unplugging my mouse on my portable laptop. The sensor doesn't get in the way when I put my laptop into the carrying bag. I keep my mouse sensor plugged in all the time. And it worked great when I placed my self five meters away from my laptop. This was useful when I show my students the music scores from behind as they are reading it from the projector, and with the mouse I can point to them whatever explanation that I have to give. Generally, this mouse worked perfectly for me. One last thing, I preferred that it was a little smaller, for packaging purposes. But if you have a big hand, this will work just fine.

I bought this little HP 2.4 GHz wireless mouse a year ago to use with my (then new) 11 inch HP laptop computer. I was having issues using the very sensitive touch pad and decided that the cure to my frustration was to get what I am used to, a MOUSE. I selected this mouse, 1st because it is the same brand as my computer and I trust the quality of HP. Next reason, it has the USB micro receiver so I don't have to pull it out every time I put my laptop in its sleeve. 3rd reason, the color matches my laptop. Finally, the price was reasonable. I've been using this mouse almost daily for several months. It has survived a couple drops to the floor, still using the same battery because it has an on/off switch, and it works really well. Bottom line....frustration cured....issues gone. The End.

I have owned several portable pointing devices for my laptop, so I purchased this one without a moment's notice. I only had it about a day before I realized that the battery compartment cover was either defective or poorly designed. To reach the battery compartment, you have to take the top off the mouse. Mine continually kept slipping off without ever truly 'locking' back into place. This means any forward movement with the mouse threatened to send the top flying. Hard to utilize a mouse when the buttons keep slipping off the rest of the surface. I cut my losses and threw this one in a drawer in case my other mouse dies.

Since I have a HP laptop (which I love), it made sense to get a small wireless mouse for it, as I don't like using the mouse on the laptop. I had this wireless mouse about a month and returned it. Maybe I got a "lemon"? After a week, it died, and I put in a new battery. It worked great. No harm done, but then less than two weeks went by and it started acting CRAZY on the screen. Refused to move and then moved around the screen at warp speed; then it died again. Wish it would have worked, because all the aesthetic elements were great - comfortable, although small, great color, etc. I ended up going to Office Max down the street and getting a different brand for less money, which works as great as the HP worked in it's "glory days". Wish I could tell you to take a chance, but seriously, I wouldn't risk it.
