This review is from: HP v100w 2 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive 3-Pack P-FD2GBX3-HPV100W-FS (Personal Computers)
Pros: Value (these are lower priced compared to the competition), decent speed, readyboost works on these. Not a super durable case but it should be okay.
Cons: Not really a con but when buying three identical flash drives you need to label them on the outside and rename them in Windows so you know which drive you are working on and which one you can remove. Like all flash drives with untethered caps, the cap can be easily lost. After almost losing two caps the first day I used them, I modified them by drilling a hole (1/16) in the cap and attaching a line to the cap and to the place where you can attach a lanyard. I used fishing line as it was readily available. Ugly but I get to keep my caps.

This review is from: HP v100w 2 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive 5-Pack P-FD2GBX5-HPV100W-FS (Personal Computers)
I am a teacher and bought this set of jump drives to quickly share files with students in class. With my Mac (OS 10.5), only two of the five drives were recognized. After searching HP support forums, I noticed someone's post that Disc Utility could see the drives. This was true for me as well. Erasing the drive (reformatting) instantly solved the issue and the drives are recognized. Since I have never had an issue like this with any USB device on my Mac, I can only assume the drives are quirky. There are other posts that indicate a similar problem.

I have many HP products and usually am very pleased but one of these flash drives has already failed, 3.5mo after purchasing. I purchased the 3pk from Amazon, and am now concerned that the data left on the other 2 is probably not secure from failure. I'll be contacting HP for replacement.
