I own a Toshiba Satellite A105 series notebook since 3 years and I had been having problems with my adapter all the time. I had warranty on my laptop, so I replaced my adapter free of cost and it worked fine for a few months. Then my warranty period was over and my adapter stopped working again.I seriously did not want to buy a 100$ adapter that could be used only for few months. So I decided to buy a cheaper one ( not HQRP..that's yet to come!) and it had 1 year warranty. Unfortunately even that adapter stopped working and I started believing that I do not know how to use a charger. I could return the charger and get a replacement , so I did that and it took about 10 days for the new adapter to be back.So, In the meantime, I bought a HQRP laptop adapter and trust me..... I forgot about the other charger all together. I got the return, but I never used it. I am still using the HQRP adapter and it works just fine!.. does not get heated up like my other chargers and has a light Display on the adapter ( even the Toshiba one doesn't). I loved this product, I suggest this to everyone who have had adapter problems like me!!

I purchased this replacement adapter charger for my Toshiba Satellite A105. I noticed immediately that the body and cord were not of the same caliber as the original, but that's a given with replacement adapters.

It worked perfectly.

For the whole first day.

Since the second day of using this adapter [and it's now been 2 weeks], I've come back to find my computer off, in hibernation state, or completely drained of battery. The plug in simply doesn't fit snugly into the back of my computer and requires constant readjustment and finagling.

So, yeah, it works, but not for long and not well. I'm fairly certain I will have to replace it in the next week or hire a little person to hold the cord in place throughout the day.

This one works just fine and has held up well. the price is much lower than if you went to a big box store.

I have gone through several adapter/chargers for my Toshiba laptop. I was dreading buying another one and having it last a very short time. But this one is still working, or I wouldn't be typing this review right now on my laptop. It has been over one year since I got this.

This is the most decent replacement one I have found. Quite happy with it.

My dog used the original charger as his personal toy. Turned out to be a rather shocking experience for him.
I purchased this to replace the now destroyed "chew toy" and it seems to work just fine. I have had no problems with the loose fit of the plug as other reviews seem to indicate. overall I would reccommend this product.

I didn't know what to think about when purchasing this $15 charger off of amazon. A normal charger from my laptop company could range anywhere from $40-$80. So, when I saw this one for $15, I was blown away. I decided to give it a try, if it was cheap I wouldn't have lost too much money. Luckily, it works perfectly fine. I'm using it right now while typing this review on my laptop. I think that mostly bad reviews concerning laptop chargers might be the confusion between which type of charger to buy for a laptop. I did a lot of research and knew exactly which type and voltage amount my laptop would be able to handle since I was purchasing an off brand. Seriously, it would have bad side effects for your laptop if the voltage settings are all wrong like over heating. Also, sometimes cheap chargers have a horrible tip on them. This charger has a nice tip, it doesn't pop out of the laptop.

Item worked. However, there were times I had to remove the adapter to turn the laptop on and then reconnect to charge the laptop. Overall, met expectations and did charge and keep the laptop charged.

Charger works great! No issues with it thus far. Works better than the toshiba charger I purchased for $100. Definitely recommend!

The product didn't work. We worked with the very helpful vendor who confirmed the product was faulty. A replacement was shipped at no added cost but it still didn't work. $$ was refunded without issue.

I have been using this cord for about 8 months now. My old Toshiba cord started fraying and I needed a replacement quick so I bought this because with one day shipping it was actually affordable. At first it worked wonderfully but over time, the charger started to come loose from the computer and now not only does it wiggle in the socket and randomly come loose, but it also drains power from my battery when it does so. Also, sometimes when I unplug it and plug it back in, the computer starts to make a soft clicking noise and within fifteen minute shuts off without warning. And now I need to buy a new battery because the old one has gone kaput.

Overall, I think this charger is great for a quick fix if you need something cheap on the fly but for something long term, you'd probably just do best to order a legitimate Toshiba charger to save the hassle and possible damage to the computer.
