I purchased the Garmin for my husband when his other one was stolen out of his vehicle. He rides a motorcycle and always wanted a GPS that would work on it as well as the car. This one will work on both. However, it didn't come with a home charger, so I purchased this one. It works very well with the Garmin and makes it easier to keep it charged for use on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The Garmin must run on the battery when he uses it on the bike.

The charger worked for 2 days - then stopped. Cheap product that shouldn't be sold by Amazon. Must be better chargers out there.
