Charger does not work,

The charger I received looked nothing like the charger in the picture and does not work with an ASUS Eee PC 701 as described.

Charger works but disables touchpad,

I bought this adapter/charger as a backup for the original adapter/charger on my EEE-PC 4G (which currently runs Ubuntu 10.04). The charger itself seems to work fine (it charges the netbook's battery) but, if I try to use the netbook while it is connected to the charger, the netbook's touchpad either does not respond at all or jumps around the screen. If I connect an external mouse, the netbook then works fine while charging.
This behavior does not occur with the original charger - the netbook's touchpad works fine while it is charging. Google found a few similar problem reports and they were all associated with "replacement" chargers with the suggestion that the problem was somehow related to "grounding" the cable that connects to the netbook. I do not plan to return this adapter/charger but I am somewhat disappointed considering the cost compared to other similar items.

This charges my ASUS 701 eee pc great. I had bought a Rocketfish charger from Best Buy for $125.00 that said it worked with ASUS but didn't. For this price I will order a couple more as backups.
