I can not use the item as it is not for an American electric wall socket. It has a double wide plug in on both sides, not one thin and one wide. It is supposed to have an adapter for the United States , but it is not included.. I have tried several times to contact the company that sold it to me and I have had no response. So I will have to give a very negative review. If anyone knows how to contact them , please let me know and I would be glad to have the right adapter and be able to use the HQRP WALL AC PowerAdapter for JVC GR-AXM17U GR-AXM17US Camcorder-(incl. USA Plug & Euro adapter)
