This is a good, reasonably-priced charger. The charger worked, which is good. I've bought several other chargers that didn't offer the right amount of amperage to charge my laptop, so I was pleased when it not only powered my computer, but also charged the battery. The cable length is really long, so I can plug it several feet from where I plan on sitting and using my computer. Also, because it is two pronged, I can plug it into any standard US outlet, which is nice when I'm visiting family members who have really old houses that lack three pronged outlets. My only complaint about the product is that it has a switch. I think the switch is unnecessary because I can easily unplug the AC cable from the converter box, and am used to doing so. Regardless, this has been the best charger I've had for my computer since I got it. Which, by the way, is an XPS M1530.

The unit started out great but did not last. The unit only a little over a year. would have liked longer life than what we got.
