The large diameter, big interval terminals, can install 6 mm2 conducting wire , wire interval is 9.5 mm, can enhance the isolation and the installation reliability.

HQRP UV Radiation Meter: This meter shows you the level of UV radiation and helps you protect your eyes and skin from negative sunlight effect. The color of the meter changes from very light purple to dark purple depending on the intensity of the UV lighting. The darker the purple color is, the more intense is the UV lighing.

First, let me say that I am not an electrician of PV professional. I do not claim any expertise, but I do claim to have done and continue to do research. I know nothing about this subject 1 year ago.

Now, let's consider the intended use of this unit. It is NOT a high end solar/wind charge controller and it does not pretend to be - so my rating is not comparing it to a MidNite Solar MPPT 250VDC 61A unit costing $700+. This is an inexpensive piece of Chinese electronics made for 4-stage battery changing in tiny-to-small PV systems. Based on everyone else's comments, it works fine when used within it's rated capacity and does not work when used outside of its rated capacity. Go figure. If like some comments indicate you have no idea what wire gauge to use given your voltage and resistance due to temperature and conduit run length, if you don't know to look at the NEC sections 310.15 - 310.17 to determine appropriate conductor ampacities, well... you may need to either do a little more studying (Photovoltaic Design & Installation for Dummies by Ryan Mayfield is a most excellent resource - if read diligently and not a dust collector on a shelf), or pay someone who knows what they are doing to set up your PV system, or simply return your unit and cease talking about things you don't know about. DIY projects should only be undertaken by DIYers willing to perform due diligence research instead of purchasing mismatched components. If you smoke your inverter it is 95% probably because you screwed up, not because the inverter was mis-wired internally. Even diligent research may not be enough, but it is better than ordering things randomly and rating it a 1 without even knowing what wire gauge to wire it up with.

Put this into my off grid camp power system. solar array/wind generator to battery charge controlling works fine. But the instructions really really suck. For reason unknown the load controller cut off the small dc load I had and will not reset. The instructions clearly were written in the PRC and did not translate well into english. The instructions do not give any guidance on how to reset the load controller.

Well am from St. vincent (st.vincent and the grenadines), a small beautiful island located in the Caribbean. I've ordered some mixed solar cells (broken and whole) from ebay and built two homemade solar panels from them. I manage to get two old used golf cart batteries from my work place, wire em up in parallel (at first) and connect my panels directly to em they took charge yes but when its discharging i noticed the loads only lasted about an hour. I then did some research about the real need for a charge controller and found that mppts are the best over pwm but i dug a bit deeper and found that pwm type controller is best for my region cause there is no winter here, only sun and rain. Started looking for a pwm controller and based on other reviews i found that hqrp is the best affordable one (for me). I ordered it, got it, followed directions and connect it to my setup. Leave it to control the charging for a whole day uninterrupted, time finally came to test at night. Turned on my inverter with my 53w 14inch tv and the batteries lasted 2hrs and a few mins. The next day, 4hrs and more. I'm really pleased with this controller, works flawlessly. Building another panel to add to the setup.
This is my honest and longest review ever written.

The controller worked great, instructions really aren't necessary, there are symbols on the controller showing postive and negative for the solar panels, positive and negative to your battery, and positive and negative for a 12 volt light if you want to hook a light up to the controller. If all you are using this for is charging batteries, there is no need to mess with the programming. I tested for any drainage back towards my solar panels, there is no drainage at all. This should not be an issue anyways if the solar panel has internal diodes as most do. 2, 100 watt solar panels hooked up to this, charging at 8 amps under direct sunlight. Took about 3 minutes to wire into my existing system.

I bought this so I could expand my two panel system up to four panels. It appears to be working fine. The instructions were lacking but the diagrams on the unit give all the info needed. This unit does not have the auto on and timed shut off the 10 Amp units appear to.

Used this Charger to charge 4 Golf Cart Batteries from my 10 amp solar array.

Worked very well for about 3 months. I burned it up trying to hook up an amp meter (through a shunt) even then it took two days to smoke a transistor.

Replaced it with a 30 amp MPPT charger for $99.

Using this charge controller for lights in a storage shed with my solar panels. Maintains a steady float charge on my battery bank with no problems. This controller is designed to turn on the load when it senses there is no sunlight from the solar panels. I have two LED lights hooked to the load that draw about .5 amps each and are using them to provide light at night in the shed. Battery voltage is normally around 12.94 volts and after operating LED lights all night voltage dropped to 12.73 volts...very minimal drain on the battery. My plan is to hook up several additional LED lights to provide increased light in my shed. Shipping was fast and item arrived in good condition.
