I think the title says it all. The quality of this product is poor and falls apart easily after only a couple of uses.

OK, when it's plugged in to the GPS unit and the cigarette lighter socket, it does keep the GPS charged - but ...

The cigarette lighter end is too narrow (skinny) and so it flops around in the socket, not a firm fit, and often disconnects (GPS says no poswer). Then I have to re-seat it, a nuisance.

The other end is a mini-USB plug, not the original plug that powers the GPS and so it uses the mini-USB socket and I can't use the traffic reporting function (which requires a cable plugged into the mini-USB socket).

Garmin wants $50 for the OEM cable and that's much too much for a simple cable, but I may buy it so that I have full use of my GPS.

Buy it if you wish, but be aware of its shortcomings.
