Worked as advertised. Straight drop in. Subjectivly, it appears to have longer run time between charges.

I ordered this battery about a month ago. I was hoping to find one that would last longer than the IRobot battery that died after a lot less time than they said it would (yet, just outside warranty, of course). It came in a box with nothing but the battery: no instructions or anything about it.

The battery definitely functional, but doesn't fit quite right in the Scooba. I store it on its side in order to keep the wheels from going flat, and because the battery wasn't snapping in, it kept losing contact. I also had the problem when I tried to put it on the floor and run it. The tank no longer snaps in easily, and the battery just feels too tall for it.

I have managed to make it work, and I even think I got it snapped in better after playing around with it for awhile, but I think I should have just bought the one IRobot makes. I'm not going to return it because it is functional, but when it dies, I won't be buying another one.

After receiving this battery promptly, we charged it overnight and now have a Scooba that cleans two bathrooms and a large kitchen/ pantry area. We have yet to see the dreaded red light with this battery. Works for me, and the price is great. Nice to have our Scooba back.

I bought this battery to replace my Scooba battery after reading other reviews here on Amazon. The battery arrived and when I installed it in my Scooba, it was apparent that the batter was slightly too large on all dimensions.

Using my caliper, I measured its height and width and found it to be about 1mm too large on both dimensions. This causes the Scooba to have difficulty in engaging and locking down the water tank. Scooba also has difficulty sucking the water out of the tank to apply to the floor. If you get Scooba to work, you will have difficulty getting Scooba to release the tank for refilling/cleaning.

Regardless, I charged the batter and the Scooba can work with the battery but YOU WILL HAVE DIFFICULTY REMOVING AND ENGAGING the tank.

I would suggest going with a iRobot battery that fits properly vs this brand which is too large.

I am in the process of opening up my bad iRobot battery and moving the cells from this battery into the old shell to see if it helps.

POST SEVERAL MONTHS: Scooba now refuses to run because the battery casing causes the tank not to fit properly. Very disappointed with this battery and a waste of $50.00.

I bought this for my Scooba 5800. As other reviewers noted the battery is slightly too large. After charging the battery the power worked but the unit could not release liquid due the increase size of the battery. I returned it.

The battery works as described, no surprise. The tank/upper lid now has a difficult time releasing from the body, which indicates that the battery housing is slightly larger than the factory battery.

I was able to get one full floor wash out of the batter on one charge, and then the battery would no longer hold any charge. Buy another battery.

Mine didn't quite match the photo, but fit and works perfectly. Glad to save a little money over the iRobot replacement battery.

This battery is a decent replacement for the Scooba. I would say it powers the Scooba for as long at the original battery and it does cost less. I do hope it has a longer overall life. My only complaint is that is does not seat as well in the Scooba and usually takes some wiggling to get it in place properly.
