I purchased this in Jan 2010, and have been using it almost everyday since. It is now Dec 2010 and my only complaint is that the black plastic cord casing that goes over the red/white wires inside has become loose where the power supply box meets the cable that goes to the computer. It's not a huge issue, but I'm concerned that the actual wires underneath might come loose as they have become significantly less sturdy. Scotch tape seems to be only a temporary solution.

Sorry this isn't more technical, never really took the time to learn the actual names of the wires & thingies involved.

It seems to work fine up until now, however the right angle plug can get disconnected accidentally, so I have to keep my eyes wide open while charging and moving the laptop. It's the price for providing less stress to the cord I think.

It is a very good quality power brick, better than the original one although slightly larger. The power cord is very thick and I like the right angle plug, I think it will provide less stress on the cord when attached to the computer as compared to the straight plug on the original adapter.

I needed a replacement for my kids msi wind net-books (2, and BOTH chargers died!) They kept having to use my charger for my Lenovo ideapad. When I received it, the company that sent it to me sent a note that they had upgraded it. I am not sure if it really was, but it works and that is all that matters to me.

I bought this to replace the charger that came with my original MSI Wind netbook. It is a plain black charger and the brick is bigger than my original but not very large. It works great and I have no complants with it. I have had it about a month now. I wold buy this again, especially since it is such a good price.

This stopped working on me within a week...I've been out of town and I'm too late to return it. Beware!

Ordered this adapter to replace the original when the tip broke. This one seems to be built sturdier than the original while not getting quite as hot while plugged in. Powers the netbook just as the original. I do not see any difference in the time it takes to charge the netbook. All in all, a good, heavy-duty replacement, better than the original in terms of build quality. Tip appears stronger, less likely to break like the first one.

There are some products that either work or they don't. You can't really compare them to others, they are kind of a commodity item.

A computer power supply is one of those items. I have an MSI Wind U123. I ordered this power supply to I could have one at work and one at home. This one works and has been reliable.

The only think I don't like is the main power cord, the one from the brick (maybe "bar of soap" would be more appropriate) to the wall, is very stiff. I don't think I've come across a cord quite like this in the past. It's a flat cord, similar to a lamp cord (zip-cord), but the plastic it's made out of is much stiffer that most. I can coil it up for travel, but it's hard to get it to lay flat when in use.

I have it kind of permanently installed, so it's not a big deal. Just something to consider if you'd be traveling with it.

My MSi U100 needed two power cords, one for at home and one abroad - i keep this one in my trunk - so i can work for a long time anywhere. I love it and would recommend it for anyone with a MSi Wind. BTW, i also love love love the computer. It's the one i wished for in '98 when my husband told me there were portable computers. Hello??? Not until now!!

I was totally in a jam because my 3 mo. old puppy chewed through my cord and I was coming up on exam time. Definitely can't be without my computer. Nothing fancy, no special features. Just a plain ol' adapter/cord. Works fine. Gets a little hot, but don't they all. I can't remember if it's the same size as my original or not. So way better than hunting for a universal in the regular brick and mortar stores which will charge me way way way more $ anyway.
