HQRP Replacement Keyboard for Acer Aspire One ZG5 Netbook / Subnotebook plus HQRP Coaster

Ribbon cable doesn't have a fold in it the original did. It inserts just fine, but does push up on the keyboard slightly.
The worst thing about the process is getting the old keyboard out without scratching/denting the surrounding case, since the prying out the tabs from the metal case is tight.

I got this replacement keyboard because I had spilt water over my acer aspire one and fried the original keyboard. The keyboard was easy to replace. I watched a few youtube videos and it took less than 2 minutes to swap out the keyboards. Thank goodness for youtube and this product because now I don't need a new computer!

Worked great. Easy to isntall, and I am by far NOT a computer person. I found some easy instructive videos on uTube and did it myself in a few minutes. Saved me the money of buying a new computer. So glad I found it!

Very good and affordable option when something happens with the old keyboard. Looks like good quality.
One big minus: there are no instructions that come with the package, which I don`t think it`s acceptable.
Thanks to other Amazon users, I found some videos on Youtube and it took me only 30 seconds to change it.

I searched several days to find this product from computer suppliers, with no luck. Should have looked at Amazon first.

Used, but condition is good and works ok. I'm replacing old keyboard with broken [esc] key with this.

The installation of the keyboard was quite easy. It takes a small degree of patience, and watching a YouTube video or two on the installation makes the entire process nearly painless.

The keyboard itself functions perfectly fine. (There is the occasional issue with a key repeating, but that may due to the silicon keyboard cover that I am now using.)

There is however a bit of a misleading picture showing the bottom of the keyboard. The bottom of the keyboard I received is not solid, it is rather more of a grill work with many holes in the bottom. This is a minor point, but the open bottom reduces the effectiveness of the keyboard in preventing any dust or moisture from getting into the guts of the netbook.

Because of this design difference, I would strongly suggest going with a keyboard protector as well.

All in all, my expectations were met with this product.
