I had some apprehension about ordering this online; especially because another supplier sent me a keyboard different than what they pictured. I tried one more time and finally received the correct product. It was an exact match for my old HP keyboard which had lost several keys. Speaking of apprehension, I never before took apart a notebook pc. Fortunately, there are some very good guides online that take you through the process step by step. I was able to take out the old keyboard and install this one with virtually no problems. OK, I had a couple extra screws after I reinstalled but everything worked perfectly. The trickiest part, only because of the small amount of room to get your fingers in, is disconnecting the two cables under the keyboard. It is mostly a matter of going slow and being patient.

My mother's HP Pavilion keyboard needed replacement. Received HQRP Replacement Laptop Keyboard on March 8, 2011. Was the 1st laptop keyboard I replaced. Some of the screws r really small, so u need a really small screwdriver. There's videos on youtube on how to replace laptop keyboards if it's ur 1st time. It works great.
