If you have a Panasonic VDR-D230 DO NOT BUY this device. It can not be connected to the camcorder and you will not be able to finalize your DVDs in order to watch them on your computer or DVD player. The connector is to large and does not fit. It only fits to its battery charger and will charge the battery. But it will be completely useless if you cannot watch your recorded disk.
