I am sure this works great for a monitor I couldn't tell you. We had a roof leak and the power brick to our brand new, 1,400.00 Cisco router had water pouring from it. after alot of fruitless searching we found that HQRP had actually listed all the specs for this unit and they matched perfectly. So with great hope we bought one and it works flawlessly. We then bought two more as backups for some of our other Cisco gear.
