I bought the version for the Panasonic FZ150 and it worked great, so I bought this one for my Panasonic GH2, and it works just as well. The product is by no means built like a tank, but it appears to be strong enough to hold up to normal usage. For the price, I'd say it's a pretty good deal. If I lost this one, I'd buy another. Recommended.

I'm baffled by all the positive product reviews for this device and GH2s. I'm a pretty camera savvy guy. I own two different GH2 and after purchasing this product, tried it on both. Didn't work with either. Since it didn't work on both instead of just one or something else camera related, I figured, faulty cable. So I wrote HQRP and they sent me another instantly. Told me feel free to junk the old one. Awesome customer service. Knowing I had a two day conference to shoot coming up in a few days I was delighted. Tried this new cable, and boom, same problem. I must have looked at it 100 times. To me if this many reviews say it works on GH2s, then it has to right? But no matter what I did it never worked. Ever. Not for a single second. I've opened the camera body of a GH1 before and repaired a faulty trigger release cable (pretty proud of that one), but couldn't get this product to work. Eventually sent both back and they gave me a full refund right away.

If anybody has any idea what I or it was doing wrong, please enlighten me. I shoot conferences a lot and can't believe I don't have AC power when dong so. It's terrible.

It may be a little light and plasticy, but it powers any of my three GH2's just fine for 6 months now. Fits good, long cord, stable and doesn't get hot. Some are complaining about the cheap build, but they also weren't willing to fork up the 6 times higher price for the Panasonic adapter so they are being unrealistic.

FYI... I'm writing this review because I'm buying a second one for our multi-camera shoots. May end up buying a third too. Would recommend this to any fellow GH2 owner.

THANK GOD I bought this (and had it with me)! I had two gigs back to back and the first required much more video shooting then I'd been told to the effect that I depleted both batteries. This adapter works as it should and it will now stay in my bag. You will need an extension cord as this is I believe around four feet which on a tripod isn't much.

I do long video events on occasion and these do exactly what they are supposed to. Much better than batteries when you can plug into a power source.

Bought this to power my Panasonic G6 for extended recording of research, and works like a charm. Like the length of both cords, long enough to reach down a tripod and along the floor for a short distance, and that the AC cord is removable, that way, can replace with a retractable. Battery coupler fits perfectly. I was honestly offended at the price of the Panasonic-branded coupler and AC adapter. I might have paid 3x the HQRP price for potentially higher quality, but not 7X, just not reasonable. While I believe in and require quality in the AV equipment I use at work, at this price, would just buy another if this one quit so long as the camera was not damaged. So far, highly recommended.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Essential for doing digital video - we can keep the camera powered for hours without much fuss. I almost took a knife to my camera lid to allow the cord, but if you look closely there's a little cord slip you can remove to allow the wire. I also appreciated the international adapter.
