This is my first review on Amazon, because I really like this flat iron and want to express my opinion on it. It also comes with a free nice pouch and glove. I have tried a few drug-store bought brands, but they always end up burning my hair. I have frizzy Asian hair especially after washing my hair, so i'm always on the lookout for a great flat iron, and at the same time i'm not willing to pay more than $100. I've looked at other more expensive irons on Amazon, but end up choosing this one because of its value and reviews. Although this particular iron does not have reviews for some reason, the other one with slightly different product (with bio silk sample) I believe sold by the same seller has many great reviews. I wanted to try it on my own to test it out, and the end result is... I got silky smooth hair! I also tried to curl my hair with it, for the first time, so i did struggle a little with it, but once you get it, it gives you the curls that you want. I also used a heat guard to protect my hair as well before i use any iron or blow dryer. I also recommend wearing a glove while using it since it can get extremely hot.
A couple of negative things, therefore the 4 star is that, it does not show exactly which heat degree you are on, for example, 240 or 410 degrees, so it's hard to tell how hot the iron is (there is only a knob to turn from low to high, similarly what you find on a volume control). Also note that it does take some time to recover its heat after you slide it down your hair. So the higher heat setting you use, the longer you have to wait for the green light (ready light) to turn on. If you are always in a hurry doing it, it wont give you the best result.
Overall, it works for me, and best value I can find to get silky hair without damaging hair(as far as i can tell).

I was hesitant to purchase this straightener because it was so inexpensive. I know that Chi seems to be the BEST when it comes to straighteners, but i just didn't want to spend 100.00. after reading the reviews of this straightener i finally purchased it. It came earlier than expected, with a heat glove and carrying case enclosed. I L-O-V-E this straightener! it straightens my hair in no time at all, and my hair has never looked so shiny! this is an exception to the rule of "you get what you pay for". BUY IT!!!

I have been using this flat iron for over 2 months now & it works great. I took this along with me on my recent trip to paris & london & to my relief the dual voltage works, I deed not need any voltage convert & experienced no change in heat consistency. (My CHI flat iron burned in India because the voltage converter did not work, that is the reason i bought the HSI dual voltage) . As of now I am extremely happy with my purchase.
