I chose to go the cheap route to add a few extra tip ups to my collection. Overall these are decent tip-ups, but there are definitely better ones out there (although you'll pay more). I do like the fact that they weigh a little less than my big wood uprights. The triggering mechanism can be a little hard at times and the spool could be a bit bigger. Otherwise I think they will do the job for the money. If you plan on doing a lot of fishing I suggest going up in price range.
