I have an HTC One and after using some cheaper (non-HTC) bluetooth connectors for my car - I was a little worried about this purchase. They never 'remembered' the connection and I always had to reconnect my phone to the bluetooth every time I got in the car. THIS WORKS PERFECTLY though. I suppose it makes sense to use an HTC bluetooth with an HTC Phone - but - live and learn. This connects automatically every time I get in the car. Super easy to use - just pair it once - and you're good to go!

It does exactly what it claims. I do believe it sounds better than a direct AUX cord connection. The best part is that my phone calls come through the car's bluetooth connection while simultaneously the audio is sent to the dongle. The combo works better than I expected.

I have Elantra 2007 and I wanted a freedom of Bluetooth. And this HTC Bluetooth (A200) has been really great. It connects to my Windows Phone 8 (HTC 8X) quickly and easily.

1. I did not experience any disconnection or dropped moments while the music was playing.
2. The led lights (green & red) are easy to detect and able to tell whether it needs to be recharged.
3. It is easy to turn ON. By simply pressing the button - you will see green light and it is ready connect with your smartphone. And by pressing the button for 3 seconds or so, you will see a red light which means OFF.
4. HINT: To save a battery life, when you exit your car, just press the button for 3 seconds or so, until you see the red light. Then later, when you enter the car, just press the button again.

All in all, it is an excellent adapter! Highly recommended!

I will start off by saying this device saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to purchase a new stereo for my car.

Con - The only CON is that the AUX plug is flush on the device and if your aux jack is recessed at all you will need to buy a female to male adapter.

The device connects automatically and works with my cars phone Bluetooth. I am able to listen to music with this device and have my car bluetooth connected to my phone for placing calls. When i answer the phone the music pauses and the phone call comes over my speakers. When i hang up the call the music plays and starts automatically from where it left off. Also when using google maps it cuts in during the music and gives me proper directions. The device is small and has a usb plug for charging. Connecting was simple. The audio that comes out is crystal clear.

I own a 2011 Cadiliac CTS even though the car has Bluetooth for phone it does not have Bluetooth for music, Until now. The HTC Bluetooth Music Streamer is the perfect accessory for cars with Bluetooth phone but not Bluetooth music. The only thing that worried me purchasing this device was that my aux input is in my center bottom console of my car which I thought might interfere with the signal getting to the Bluetooth. That was not a problem. My iPhone 5 streamed perfectly to the device. If you own a car with Bluetooth phone, but no Bluetooth music this is the device your been waiting for.

I was very surprised it worked. Very cool, very cool!!

Pros: I am using this in my BMW where there is a power slot and audio in. Previously I have used a headphone wire to plug-in and because of this cord tangle I would usually just skip the music unless it was a long trip. Having automation via bluetooth means I can leave my phone in my pocket and conveniently get pandora etc.

Cons: But unlike my phone connecting (via bluetooth automatically, each and every time I get in the car) this won't connect unless I turn bluetooth off then on again. There is a time-out feature, which varies, so if I pull over for gas and then start up my car again it will maintain the connection.

And as was pointed out in a G+ discussion the other day, certain audio will sound bad to very bad. Rock, like Smashing Pumpkins is the worst!! but most electronic and jazzy will be fine.

Such a light weight, enabling receiver that made my Howard Leight 1030110 Headphones Earmuffs enabled with music, without the cord, that otherwise would be a danger in a workshop.

But sadly, I bought THREE of them (initially two to swap out when one of the receiver's battery dies out. The third one was meant as a replacement, but now I only have ONE working one as of today. Two of the three receivers cannot turn on, and only shows a blinking green light upon trying to plug it in for a recharge. This is within the course of the year I have owned the three receivers.

HTC's customer support is atrocious. Insisting I contact with the vendor directly for a warranty (WHY CAN'T I GO THROUGH HTC?) There is no area on their website to at ease register a product and follow up for a warranty like say Logitech for example.

I had enough of HTC's antics. From not refining a very durable phone and ceasing support of it - of which I had to get the developer's preview to even continue my HTC 8X's use; to abstaining a dedicated camera button on an otherwise good phone (HTC M8 for Windows); and following the Apple trend (metal prettyness in lieu of durability sans bulky case - of which it doesn't matter once you use a damn phone case) and you have a shallow me-too company.

I have recommended this product in the past - initially. Now? No way. The reliability and customer support (I phoned twice and with the same redirection of you must contact the Amazon vendor bullshittery) makes me want to stay the heck away. Their direction on devices is dismal.

I will be looking for another receiver, since I am not sure how long my last HTC receiver would last. And all three were paired with that very same HTC 8X I am still currently using (updated with the Windows Phone developer's preview).
