Cable arrived in good condition and I was happy with the interface and landscape orientation that was toggled upon plugging in the cable. I'm able to view my images on the TV, share with friends or even show some recently loaded movies. This really opens up a lot of possibilities for the phone in giving presentations as well. Definitely would recommend.

The cable works great, but what sprint doesn't tell you is it is not authorized for use with sprint tv. You will get a popup message telling you this and when you click ok sprint tv closes. There is a work around, start the sprint tv first the connect the cable and when you receive the message do not click ok just slide the message off to the bottom of the screen. the catch is at the end of each clip you click ok, disconnect the cable start the next episode clip, reconnect the cable, and move the message to the bottom of the screen.

Literally everything you see on your phones screen you can now put out to a TV screen, or anything that accepts
the old Yellow/White/Red video audio connectors.

It has a little pass through connector so you can charge your phone while doing the video out, so you dont kill your phones battery.
Very cool, and for the price its great. I have a lot of pics on my phone of my kid that I can show on my relatives TV when we visit.
Its a very cool and fun little thing to have for your HTC phone.
I paid about $11 for these cables. not including shipping.

So I ordered this item about 2 weeks ago, with the impression that I would be using it to hook up my Mytouch 3g to my tv. Just received it 2 days ago to realize that it is not at all compatible with the phone. I was so disappointed that it wouldn't work, but more disappointed at the fact that it says you can use it with the Mytouch. So i wrote the seller and asked for a refund, and also asked for them to take off that its compatible with the Mytouch. They wrote back and agreed to give me a refund, excluding shipping & handling(what a surprise). But then they tried to tell me that nowhere on the ad does it say Mytouch 3g. What!? I'm viewing this item right now and i can clearly see that it says Mytouch 3g. If they're not gonna remove it then fine, but they don't have to lie to me and say it doesn't say that. Like my title says this is false advertising. I'm not saying this item does not work, I'm saying it does not work for mytouch 3g. So if you had it in mind to buy it for the mytouch, DON'T! It will not work, and you would have wasted you're time like me.

have a touch pro 2. phone instantly asks wether you want to use NTSC (america) or PAL (europe). Works very well, displays all phone activity. Great for showing off pictures, playing music, etc. also lets you chage the phone with a pass thru port to attach a charger.

Good:
1) Plug it in to your phone, plug the other end into the RCA inputs on your home theater system, and you suddenly have a 60" view of your phone. Use it to easily view pictures, videos, or whatever you may want to make visible.
2) Has a charging port on the side to keep your phone juiced during the viewing.

Two points:
1) Choose NTSC/PAL correctly, this can cause poor viewing quality.
2) My first attempt on a traditional television yielded a skewed aspect ratio. On a widescreen HD television the picture has a correct ratio -and beautiful picture.

The bad:
1) If you don't connect a charger to the charging port you may experience a shortened battery life.

The quality and functionality of this cable is very good!

I ordered this item because the description specificaly says it will work on a mytouch 3g however it does not, after trying to plug it in many different ways and opening different apps on the phone it never sent any image or sound. I researched online and there is no tv out cables that are compatible with the myotuch 3g.

They lie! My wife got this for me for Christmas, but now I am a sad panda as the cable does not fit properly onto the base of my HTC Pure. The USB Mini plug is prevented from inserting far enough to send and sort of signal. I will try modding it to get it to work.

Works great, has an unadvertised power jack so that one can power the device while pulling video and sound from it - I know that it's silly, but .. $25 for some wires and RCA heads? Well, it's the world.
