HTC Capacitive Stylus for HTC MyTouch 3G, 1.2, Hero CDMA (1 Pack)

I wouldn't wish this stylus on my worst enemy. Buying it just means you have money to throw away because this ended up in the trash. It didn't work on ANY of the capacitive devices I own. Ultimately you end up pressing so hard on the screen trying to make it work; in the meantime- hoping you don't do any harm to the screen you're smashing it on.

I would welcome ANYONE who said this piece of junk works to post a video of it in use; cause other than that- I don't believe them and neither should you.

As the title implies, I've been trying to find a stylus that works on a Nook Color. What do I mean by works because there are lots of styli on Amazon that claim to be for the nook color. I want a stylus that works on a rooted nook color where I am using the stylus not only for tapping on keys but also from dragging things around the screen and writing or drawing on the screen. I like using an app for handwriting recognition instead of typing.

I've tried several stylus that work well on my iPhone or on an iPad. Most have a rubber tip and work very well on the iphone but almost not at all on the nook color (beyond simple key taps). When you try to draw a line, they leave a series of dashes as best. This stylus, as best I am able to determine, is a version of the Dagi stylus which uses a plastic tip with a red dot in the middle that apparently represents the contact point.

Since the surface of the stylus is not rounded, the angle is more critical but it is the first stylus that I have been able to use on my Nook color to write and draw. It doesn't work flawlessly and I am not sure if it is the stylus or whether, with practice, I will get more proficient. I contacted Dagi, the Taiwanese company that I'm pretty sure makes this stylus and they make quite an assortment. Although the part that contacts the screen appears to be the same on all the styles they make, they do recommend only three of their current models "For Nook Color, we recommend you to use P501, P005 or P601. " I don't know if this one is equivalent to any of the three models they mention. I have a P501 on the way. Looks different from the stylus under review. I'll append my experience to this review one I get it.

Bottom line: this stylus works much better than the other styli I have tried but none are as good as my finger.

This stylus does work, but only if you hold it at a certain angle and even then it skips.
I tested this stylus with a paint program following by a writing one on a Toshiba Thrive (no screen protector).

I bought and tested a Targus AMM02US (which can be found on Amazon) from a local retail store. It works much better and the tip does glide smoothly. The main purpose of a stylus for me was to have customers sign my work orders on my tablet. The Targus stylus does that.

Pros: It works, but you must find the proper angle. It does glide smoother than others.

Cons: If you don't find the right angle, it's useless.

I bought this along with a couple of cheapie rubber tipped styli. If you watch the youtube videos, this stylus seems to work well. I've tried it on the MyTouch 4G Slide and the LG GSlate. Your finger works better. I'd recommend the cheapie rubber tipped styli. They work reasonably well if you're looking for those times when working with gloved hands.
