I received ths HTC HGP-10 Bench Grinder Stand as a 2006 Christmas gift from my daughter and son-in-law. I finished putting it together in about 20 minutes. This is one nifty stand - sturdy, height adjustable and easily leveled. I can either stand or sit to grind, depending on what is more comfortable to me at the time. My Wilton 17202 6 Amp 8-Inch Bench Grinder fits on it perfectly. I am very pleased with this stand and recommend buying it for yourself. ~ The BossUPDATE: January 30, 2007 ~ I ordered and received the HTC Universal Tool Stand and I am just as pleased with it as I have been with my grinder stand. I am using the Universal Tool Stand for my Werner Vise. It fits with room to spare for anything else I might need when using the vise. The ability to raise and lower the tables is great. ~ The Boss

Nice quality stand.,

Very nice product. Would have earned 5 stars but this is my second HTC product that had problems out of the box. My first stand was sent back to Amazon due to the screw in adjustable feet that wouldn't thread. The body of the stand was also marred in shipping on both..Not a big deal but the product should be better packed from the manufacturer. I also own an HTC PM7000 that was damaged in shipping twice.Amazon is awesome to deal with.I incurred no expense in the shipping of this product.HTC actually sent me a good unit as Amazon wouldn't re ship the PM7000. This stand is stable and height adjustable. A good quality product.

Makes a great Sock Machine Stand,

We have, use and restore old [1870-1900] sock machines that have a right side crank handle. As this stand comes, a sock machine can easily be attached to it but it does not leave any room for setting tools or yarn. So it is not much more difficult to attach a wood or metal top that expands the usable surface. The design for raising and lowering the height works well, even with the weight [25 to 45 lbs] of these old cast iron machines. Very stable and no tipping so far with the center pedestal design. The feet are adjustable for uneven surfaces, a plus when setting up a sock machine at crank-ins, fairs and festivals. Circular sock machines are not what it was designed for but it works well and it is affordable. Possibly it would be a good stand for other favorite tools.
