Keep your shop floor clear with HTC's Mobile Base System. The HTC Mobile Base provides a solid, stable stance that requires no tilting or adjusting, and also allows you to quickly move it when not in use. You can reposition the base for cutting long stock, as well as freeing up space on your shops floor. With this base your machine is held 3/4 inches off the floor at all times, eliminating the need to recalibrate those important machine setting that can be thrown off by raising and lowering the machine. This welded, one-piece base features the HTC exclusive 3-point system, 500-pound capacity, and two rigid wheels with foot operated locks. Its internal dimensions are 20.5-by-62.5 inches, and the item comes with a tough powdercoat finish. It also includes one locking swivel wheel to make moving your machine in any direction a breeze. The base is specifically designed for Delta Unisaw Table Saw with 52-inch fence, and the Jet JTAS Table Saw with 50-inch fence.

I have one under my 5hp Jet saw and it is the only way to move that saw without suffering a hernia! The base is almost completely assembled - just add the wheels and the angle iron support for the table legs and it is ready. I did recruit a buddy to help me get the saw on the base. We tipped the saw up from the table end as far as we dared, slid the base under it and lowered the saw. A few nudges later and the saw cabinet dropped into the frame. The welded construction looks like it should never fail unless I tow it down the Interstate with my pickup.

I read all the reviews at Amazon.com on this item and still did not believe that the HTC mobile base could be as bad as some folks say it is. After receiving it, I can say that the reviews were right. Without leveling bolts, the base is useless and the wheel lock-downs are made of cheep materials. The base can be unstable on uneven floors. I stood on the center rail that holds the extended table and my 155 Lb weigth caused the base to sag. This was before the saw was placed on it. HTC said I have 30 days to return it with no questions asked. I would except that I invested [money] and two days to beef it up and put levelers on the thing...

I WAS DISSAPOINTED IN HOW ACCESSABLE THE LOCK WAS ON SWIVEL WHEEL AND HOW SECURE IT LOCKED. VERY HARD TO USE
