Great product, instructions need improvement
If you purchase HCT's HBT-320 tool stand, then this mobile base is the best choice for putting it on wheels. I found it to be well made with good components. I was concerned about the 3 wheel design, but it is stable and rolls very nicely, even over carpet. (My wife has carpet in the garage, which is a story itself. Don't do it, it's a pain.) Doesn't work
Two of the wheels have a built-in brake, but the third doesn't. There is one in the package, but it's loose and there is no way to attach it to the frame by the third wheel. After several calls for support I was told that "the design is changing" and in the future the third brake will be welded to the frame. The current design? No way to do it. Thanks.

If you purchase HCT's HBT-320 tool stand, then this mobile base is the best choice for putting it on wheels. I found it to be well made with good components. I was concerned about the 3 wheel design, but it is stable and rolls very nicely, even over carpet. (My wife has carpet in the garage, which is a story itself. Don't do it, it's a pain.) The only criticism I can offer is the instructions are generic to all HBT's mobile bases and take a little effort to figure out the relevant parts. Also, as Mr. Mcnulty noted, the parts kit includes a floor lock that is not used on this unit. It's not needed with this design and I don't think would work as well as the two wheel locks that are used, so it didn't bother me at all. All in all, this unit is a great way to have a custom fit, stable mobile base for the HBT-320 stand.
