I Have All Four Sizes,

This review is from: HTC TS-9072 Tool Saver 56-by-72-Inch Large Machine Cover (Tools & Home Improvement)
This product is tough and durable. I have them on every large power tool and on my chest of tools (Sears Tool Chest). Keeps out dust, dirt, and wettness. I have order this item from Amazon many times. Everything I own for wooding is in my garage, These covers keep the rust out and the tools clear and ready to go at all times.

Tired of using tarps or plastic sheets that snag on edges and retain moisture? Try one of these covers. They're heavy enough to stay put in a stiff breeze or near a fan, yet soft enough to fold quite easily. The magnets in the corners are a nice feature, as is the non-marring fabric.

Could be done better for the money...,

Hopefully these covers (I've bought a medium and two large) will do the job intended. That is to keep the equipment free of dust and dirt without trapping moisture on the unit whereby rust would form easily. The material is quite light weight (for the cost of these you might expect something heavier) which may tear easily if caught on the machine when you're pulling it off. However, the biggest shortcoming of these covers is the inadequate magnet strips stitched along 3-4 inches of the seam in each corner. These magnets are all but worthless. They are so weak as to not hold the corners of the (light weight) cover up underneath the top of a table saw or jointer. At best, they may hold the cover corners to vertical edges only. At that, a slight breeze will send the cover flapping. My solution is to get rare earth magnets that have a hole in the center and stitch or rivet them on to the corners of the covers. I'm sure these will do the job of holding the cover corners to the equipment. Something the HTC factory stitched-on magnets don't do.

GREAT MACHINE COVERS,

After years of battling light rust powder due to condensation I have finally found the solution. I have tried every thing from canvas to plastic and rubber covers, all sweat to a degree. I bought a couple of these machine covers and have found that they really work well. I would strongly recommend these machine covers to anyone with a rust problem.

I haven't had them long enough to see if they really prevent rust, but I like the weight and breathability. I agree with another reviewer that the magnets are virtually useless. I wish there was an additonal size of 56" x 56" for bench planers and such. I haven't found anything that the 36" x 56" fits.-Herb Mann

I have a couple of these HTC machine covers. The material seems of very high quality and I'd expect it to perform well overtime. After a couple of weeks in my garage shop, in the South Carolin summer, my covered tools seem to be doing just fine - no collected moisture and no rust. The construction is solid. This size cover works ok on my Dewalt planner, though there's a lot of excess material. I'd just as soon have grommet holes for bungee cords than the magnets. They aren't particularly effective at holding the cover neatly in place. Overall, though I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Not Water Proof,

This review is from: HTC TS-9072 Tool Saver 56-by-72-Inch Large Machine Cover (Tools & Home Improvement)
Liquids have been spilled on my table saw with the cover on more than once. I of course did not know it. On each occurrence, the liquid went right through the cover and I ended up with a big rust stain on the table saw. So don't count on the cover keeping liquids off your tools.
