This review is from: HUD House (Paperback)
HUD House is a practical guide to buying a government* foreclosure on the Internet and transforming it. The authors have written a journal of their experience. They periodically step out of the main text to share their thoughts on cuttiing red tape, finding contractors, scheduling tasks and the like. They didn't think they actually put in a lot of sweat equity; instead, they call their extensive planning and strategizing "programming equity."This is a book for people with good credit. It shows the way to bootstrap into a modest house. Other readers might be people who have a little cash but who want to keep their mortgage payments low, retirees, employees of fad industries and recipients of windfalls. _______________________ |
