5.0 out of 5 stars Great knee socks!
I've been on a quest to find some comfy socks that won't fall down nor will bind. These fit the bill. These socks are light to medium weight. I can wear them with most of my dressier pants and shoes. If you are looking for heavy, warm socks for cold feet in the winter, these are probably too light. These are a good year-round sock and I will buy more. Also, I tried to...

2.0 out of 5 stars Do Not Stay Up!!
These socks are ok except they stretch out and then creep down your leg as you walk. These are thin to medium thickness, but really just do not do the job.

If you are looking for heavy, warm socks for cold feet in the winter, these are probably too light. These are a good year-round sock and I will buy more. Also, I tried to find seamless toe socks (nearly impossible) -- these are an acceptable alternative. I'm very picky about the "poky" seams on the toe and these seams don't bother my tootsies.

I bought several of these and could not get them over the calves of my legs....way too tight. Not nearly enough stretch for the average leg. I gave them all to a skinny friend...she loves them. So, if you have muscular calves, don't do it unless SKINNY muscular. Big disappointment

1.0 out of 5 stars Socks are too long!, April 2, 2009

This review is from: HUE Women's Cotton Cable Knee Socks (Apparel)
I ordered these socks - they're comfy and soft, and would fit if I were 6 feet tall! At only 5'4", I am far too short to wear these socks comfortably. They're just too big, and I'm tempted to get rid of them, even thought they're new. What a shame.

3.0 out of 5 stars comfortable but they fall, December 12, 2008

I love the socks as they are comfortable but they do fall after a time. I won't be buying this brand again but will enjoy wearing the ones I do have even as I pull them up. :)

3.0 out of 5 stars Socks are now sized incorrectly, November 15, 2008
This review is from: HUE Women's Cotton Cable Knee Socks (Apparel)
These socks were my favorite socks until this year. When I purchased them this year in 2008 it seems they are now sizing them for a size 12 and above foot. My foot is an average size and these were too long by at least 1 1/2". I have bought these socks the last two years and they were a perfect fit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great socks!, April 7, 2008
I purchased the cable socks for my mom. She has large calfs and it has been difficult locating a comfortable fit/style. She loooooooves the fit and the colors. Thank you sooooooooo much!

4.0 out of 5 stars Cable Knee Socks, January 7, 2010

This sock is satisfactory. It fits an average leg, although it's slightly difficult to pull on and stays up only moderately well. For socks that fit the best and never slide down, try the Hue Argyle Knee Socks.

I can't think of anything that can irritate me all day long like socks that won't stay up and sag around your ankles! I bought other sock by the same manufacture (argyle) and they are fine, but the cable sock I bought in gray and brown always sag and refuse to stay put - gonna have to toss them!

4.0 out of 5 stars Warm, cable socks, February 21, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I ordered these socks, because my feet would get cold at work. The socks work well with my work shoes, as I have a narrow foot and every leather shoe I own eventually stretches so there's room for the thickness of the material. If you had a wide foot and a narrower shoe, I don't think it would work out as well.
